NGO Partners

TAO-Pilipinas works hand in hand with other NGOs of various fields to accomplish the goals and objectives of each project. Usually, development NGOs introduce TAO-Pilipinas to their partner communities in need of technical assistance, or TAO-Pilipinas taps other NGOs to address the community needs that are outside of TAO’s expertise. Among our current development NGO partners are:

Community Organizers Multiversity (COM)

COM is a non-profit NGO that develops, enhances, and nurtures the capacities of community organizers, people’s organizations, and other development organizations. COM is TAO’s partner NGO for communities in Lupang Arenda in Taytay, Rizal (Alliance of People’s Organizations in Lupang Arenda) and Sta. Mesa, Manila (People’s Plan Ville Homeowners Association).

Foundation for Development Alternatives (FDA)

FDA is a non-profit NGO that promotes social justice and development, and origination of socialized housing for homeless urban poor communities. FDA is TAO’s partner NGO for communities in Tandang Sora, Quezon City (Santuario de San Vicente de Paul Parish Basic Ecclesial Communities).

Foundation for the Development of the Urban Poor (FDUP)

FDUP is a non-profit NGO that organizes and empowers urban poor communities towards shelter security. They also develop socialized housing projects and assist communities in accessing government financing programs. FDUP is TAO’s NGO partner for a community in Sta. Mesa, Manila (People’s Plan Ville Homeowners Association).
